The Stone Collection was established in late 2007 and began operations in early 2008. Modern and effective logistical, operational and marketing solutions have given rise to tremendous growth. With an inventory of well over 50,000 slabs from more than 30 countries, regional distributorship agreements with Caesarstone, Neolith, Geoluxe, Vetrazzo, Diresco, Sicis, and knowledgeable and experienced staff, The Stone Collection quickly took a leadership position in the Colorado market and developed a strong national presence. Today, The Stone Collection operates eight locations across five states.
The founding partners of The Stone Collection can rightly be called pioneers of today’s domestic stone industry. In their own independent businesses, Alan Odom of Dallas, Texas, and Mike Hitchcock of Denver, Colorado established operating procedures and marketing programs that eventually became recognized as the standards of the industry. Each brought their businesses from start-ups to large scale, national leadership positions.
In August of 2014, The Stone Collection acquired a long-standing and well-known natural stone entity, Interceramic Marble Collection (IMC), with locations in Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas. For over 34 years, IMC provided the highest quality products and most unique stone hand-selected from over 47 countries. This acquisition helped The Stone Collection to bolster the brand and embark on expansion. New, state-of-the-art facilities in Dallas, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, and most recently Denver, have been completed over the last five years.
In early 2019, The Stone Collection acquired yet another long-standing and well-known natural stone firm, Marble Of The World, with locations in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and Palm City, Florida. Marble Of The World (MOTW) was founded in 1985 and has been providing high quality, exotic natural stone, and premium tile to the Florida market for decades. Currently, a new state-of-the-art facility is in progress in Pompano Beach, FL.
A deeply rooted presence in the Colorado market, both acquisitions, and successful new showrooms have helped The Stone Collection continue to pave the way as one of the largest and most diverse suppliers of natural stone and premium hard surfaces in the nation.
The Stone Collection works with a wide variety of materials, including natural stone, quartz, glass, porcelain, and more.
